Special Interests:
I LOVE the field of allergy and immunology and I truly enjoy taking care of patients with the related medical conditions. In the past, I enjoyed research interests in the biology of mast cells, allergic mechanisms and drug allergies as well as teaching. [I have held clinical teaching positions at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and Harvard Medical School.] Due to time restrictions, my professional life is devoted to patient care and my personal life is dedicated to my family. My husband is busy in the field of pediatric and adult rheumatology, and our children consume the rest of my energy.
